Terms of Use

Effective date: July 7, 2026

By downloading or using FittyBitty ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

FittyBitty is a fitness planning application that generates personalized workout plans and daily task lists from the goals and equipment you provide. The App includes optional social features (friend competitions and private group leaderboards) and on-device notifications. FittyBitty also offers FittyBitty Premium, an optional paid subscription that unlocks AI-assisted food tracking — estimating the calories and macronutrients of a meal from a photo or a spoken/typed description — and AI-generated recipe suggestions.

2. Not Medical or Nutritional Advice

The App is for informational and motivational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or dietary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Workout plans, nutrition targets, exercise recommendations, AI-estimated calorie and macronutrient values, and AI-generated recipes are general guidance and approximations only — they may be inaccurate and should not be relied upon for medical, clinical, or therapeutic purposes. AI-generated recipes may contain allergens or ingredients unsuitable for your diet; always review ingredients yourself. Always consult a physician or registered dietitian before starting any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions, allergies, injuries, an eating disorder, or are pregnant. You use the App's recommendations at your own risk.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you should use the App under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

4. Account & Competition

The competition feature uses anonymous authentication — no email or password is required. Your anonymous identity is tied to your device. If you uninstall the App or switch devices, your competition profile may be lost. We are not responsible for lost accounts or leaderboard progress.

5. FittyBitty Premium Subscription

FittyBitty Premium is an auto-renewable subscription offered as a monthly or annual plan, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. It unlocks AI-assisted food tracking (photo, voice, and text meal logging) and AI recipe suggestions. The following terms apply:

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Your use of the subscription is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, these Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use & Objectionable Content

Competition is invite-only, but display names and group names are visible to the people you invite. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to:

You can report or block any competitor from the leaderboard. We review reports and may remove content or suspend users who violate these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and original content are owned by Geoff Baron. Exercise demonstration photographs are sourced from the free-exercise-db project (public domain). You may not redistribute the App or its assets without permission.

8. Automatically Generated Content

Workout plans are generated server-side using the Anthropic Claude API. AI food-tracking estimates (calories and macronutrients from a meal photo or description) and AI recipe suggestions are likewise generated using the Anthropic Claude API. While we validate workout output against our curated exercise library and apply safety checks, all AI-generated content — including nutrition estimates and recipes — is approximate and may contain errors. Review generated content before relying on it, verify recipe ingredients for allergens and dietary suitability, and do not use it as a substitute for professional advice.

9. Availability & Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue the App or its features at any time without notice. AI features depend on third-party services (Supabase, Anthropic) which may experience downtime; when unavailable, those features may not work and the App falls back to a built-in rule-based coach for workout plans so core functionality keeps working offline.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FittyBitty and its developer shall not be liable for any injuries, health issues, allergic reactions, data loss, or damages arising from the use of the App. This includes, without limitation, injuries sustained while performing exercises recommended by the App and any consequences of relying on AI-generated nutrition estimates or recipes.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the competition or Premium features for any user who violates these terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which the developer resides.
